During my summer vacation, I spent three weeks in Miami participating in the Education First (EF) English program.
The trip combined language learning, cultural experiences, travel, fitness, social life, and exploration of one of the most iconic cities in the USA.
This experience allowed me to improve my English, meet people from around the world, and live the Miami lifestyle.

One of the best parts of this trip was meeting people from different countries. We explored Miami together, discovering its vibrant neighborhoods, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere. We attended various events, social gatherings, and parties, where we met even more people and learned how different cultures socialize and celebrate. These shared moments helped us form strong bonds and create memories that I will cherish for a long time.
What I gained socially:
- International friendships
- Cultural exchange
- Confidence in speaking English
- New perspectives on travel and lifestyle
This experience taught me a lot on a social level. One of the biggest benefits was developing international friendships that expanded my network and opened my mind to global connections. I also experienced cultural exchange firsthand, learning about new customs, ways of thinking, and daily habits that differ from my own. It allowed me to better understand diversity and appreciate the uniqueness of other cultures.
Another important gain was increased confidence in speaking English. Communicating daily with people from different countries pushed me to improve my language skills, express myself more clearly, and overcome the fear of making mistakes. As a result, I now feel more comfortable participating in conversations, sharing my opinions, and interacting in international environments.

During the trip, I also had the chance to explore Miami itself — a city full of energy, color, and contrast. One of my favorite areas was Brickell, the modern financial district often called the “Manhattan of the South.” Brickell impressed me with its skyline of glass skyscrapers, luxury apartments, rooftop bars, and stylish cafés. The atmosphere there felt dynamic, fast-paced, and full of ambition.
